Eid

It was another depressing Eid yesterday. Eid sucks more for us family-less folks in North America, because we can't even pretend to be enjoying ourselves and have some good food thrown in. I could have gone to two dawats, and possibly felt better but I had to spend almost the entire day working on a paper (that's all I seem to be doing these days). The only highlights were my roomie making a potful of delicious Haleem and much later at night the estranged lot of us went and saw The Incredibles. Atleast the movie was awesome. The night before we tried to put mehndi on, but the tube we got was the crappiest li'l bugger that wouldn't work half the time and when it did it was mostly water! Argh.

In other news, I'm playing at a show this friday and have not been able to find a Tabalchi. Ah well. (Nothing is working out these days - I just want to be a kid again) My parents are coming down for it, and my mom will be here on her birthday! It should be fun.
